About us
Who we are
We are a dynamic team of community driven advocates dedicated to the holistic approch to development and empowerment of vulnerable individuals in the Lamwo district.
Established in 2015, we began our journey as a registered community-based organization (CBO) with a vision to create positive, sustainable change. Our commitment intensified as we identified the deep-seated needs within our community, leading us to focus our efforts on the women, youth, children, and men who need support the most.
Today, our impact is felt across diverse age groups through a comprehensive approach to well-being. We provide essential livelihood and economic support, education, and health services, alongside dedicated advocacy and counseling. By fostering vital community linkages, we ensure that every individual we reach has the tools and guidance necessary to build a better, more secure future.

Vocational training
Entrepreneurship & Business Development
We focus heavily on four core, high-income-generating business tracks:
Equipping community members with sustainable, climate-smart farming techniques to ensure food security and consistent crop-to-market revenue.
Training youth and young mothers in the art of intricate beadwork, pattern creation, and fashion design. This track turns raw talent into beautiful bags, necklaces, and bangles ready for local markets.
Teaching the formulation and production of affordable, high-demand hygiene products, creating immediate micro-enterprise opportunities.
Providing specialized training in baking staples like mandazi, chapati, and cakes, alongside core instruction in budgeting and record-keeping.
Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA)
Traditional banking is often out of reach for marginalized individuals, leaving them without a safe place to save money or access credit.
Access to financial services remains a challenge for many communities. Through our Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), we empower individuals and groups to build financial resilience through collective saving, affordable credit, and financial literacy. This community-led approach enables members to invest in businesses, support their families, and respond to unexpected financial needs while strengthening economic independence.
Connecting Communities to Opportunities
We believe that lasting change is only possible through collaboration and strong networks.
Our Linkages and Partnerships program connects community members, entrepreneurs, and program graduates to opportunities that help them grow beyond their local environment.
We facilitate access to wider markets by linking small-scale producers and micro-enterprises to regional buyers, exhibitions, and commercial opportunities, helping them scale their businesses and improve their livelihoods. In addition, we connect skilled individuals to advanced training institutions and work with local, national, and international partners to strengthen collective impact and drive sustainable community development.
Linkages
The Power of Collaboration: The ‘Niyee Ki Tic’ collective, a group of young mothers and youth, mastered beadwork and jewelry-making through our program. By pooling their resources, specializing their production, and selling collectively at local market days, they generated 463,000 Ugx in just three weeks
